Evolution of Success

The Moving Images story is the classic evolution of success, a company continually reinventing itself to meet the changing face of production.

A start up in the garage, Advanced Video grew to an 85 employee production company building its own 12,000 square foot editing facility in Anaheim, California. After 12 years, the time came to liquidate a machine room full of recording decks with multiple formats and transform into Moving Images. As the desktop computer for editing and the smaller crew for production became the standard Moving Images was born situated in Long Beach in the sound studios of South Bay/Thunder Studios.  Production expanded to include more broadcast, hitting the road with TV shows and specials until the business again transformed as clients utilized the leap in technology to bring all the needed equipment on location.

So once again responding to demand Moving Images has reinvented itself into a boutique production and editing service. With the speed and technology of the Internet, the lure was no longer the big studio as clients want the flexibility to review footage from their own tablet or computer, but still remain active in the process. Moving Images again offers the best of both worlds with studio affiliations, but the technology to deliver without leaving your office.

Never let the vehicle get in the way of the message.

A few things we have learned along the way that haven’t changed - a commitment to excellence.  Whatever the technology, the story drives the program.  The vehicle should never outshine the message. You should never hear, "I have no idea what they are selling but I love the show". The finest video ever produced is not a success unless it meets the client’s objective.

We listen to our clients to help evaluate their needs, determine their audience and craft their message.  Customer service is not rocket science but it is a vanishing art form. It’s the ability to generate teamwork in a creative atmosphere.  It enables good people to create greatness.  At Moving Images, customer service will never become an antiquated concept.
